I am travelling to Kenya (primarily Nairobi) between September and December 2026, supported in part by the Smuts Memorial Fund. I will interview people with polio-related disabilities, in collaboration with the Disabled Empowerment Society of Kenya, and view primary sources at various archives. I am writing a biweekly newsletter about my experiences and findings.
